Would like to know what most of your preferences are.  Right now I am taking the Cort enemas because I am in the beginning of a flare.  However, they seem to burn my rectum and I notice a tad of blood on the toilet paper when I first wipe but no blood in the stool as far as I can tell.  I also take a Canasa suppository in the morning.

Update 11/03/08...finally in remission!!  Hope I don't jinx myself.  Off the prednisone since 11/01/08...now see if I can stay off for longer than two weeks.  Other meds: 6MP (75 mgm), colazal (6 per day), Benicar and Toprol (high blood pressure meds), Probiotic (2 per day), fish oil capsule and multi-vitamin and calcium with vitamin D.

If I had a choice, I would much rather use Rowasa over the Cortenemas. I can't tolerate mesalamines so when I flare now, I have to use the Cort. But with the Rowasa, I had less side effects (when I could take them) and I healed rather quickly.
