I went to the doctors the other day and she told me that I had a virus.  I thought I might of had bronchitis but she did a chest xray and my lungs were clear.  But yet I was feeling like total crap and coughing up yellow crap.  So I have been on MucinexDM (which I TOTALLY recommend for anyone that gets chest congestion - works great!) and the doc gave me a sample of Symbicort to help with my breathing.  I've been sort of MIA here on the UC board because of being sick.  But things are finally settling down.  My family is healthy again and I am on the mend.  Just in time too because we are leaving for Florida in 2 1/2 weeks for vacation.
Oh and also my UC gave me NO trouble at all during all this time!  I am so tickled! LOL  The last time I went on vacation I was flaring and on steroid enemas.  It was so not fun because not only was I flaring but I got sunburnt and chigger bit!  This time around I am in a very good remission so I am hoping to be able to enjoy ourselves.

Glad to hear you are feeling better...and off to a nice vacation in Florida! I'll have to try the Mucinex next time I get a cold...sounds like it works well. Good to hear that the UC stayed in check too!

Glad you're feeling better! Have a great time on your vacation! :)
Symptoms began in November 2008, ~4 weeks after giving birth to my son.
Eased for ~3 weeks in December, possibly b/c of probiotic use?
Returned in January 2009 (with a vengeance), diagnosed with pancolitis on January 30.
Currently taking Asacol (400mg 4 pills 3x daily), Rowasa every other night, Culturelle probiotic, and Zoloft (25 mg).
