OK, i've ask questions about this before.... The raw root is too much for me.

So, I read that it's great to put a tea spoon of turmeric powder in warm milk and drink... Now, is turmeric powder the same as turmeric spice? I went to whole foods and bought there turmeric spice and used that in the milk... Is this fine or no?

It was hard to drink, i can't lie... I guess we will see.. I may just start putting them in capsules or something... It's really strong!

Turmeric powder is the same as turmeric spice. It's got a strong flavor but you get used to it soon. Sometimes I'll drink a cup of warm water with 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.

I believe that pure circumin is the active, therapeutic portion of turmeric that is concentrated in the turmeric supplements so that you don't get as irritated as one must to get an equivalent dose of it by taking the cooking spice alone- i.e. it is far more effective to take the supplement than the spice. But as for me, even the supplement seems to flare me up a bit.

It screwed me up bigtime, but apparently it helps some people a lot.
