Painful bms meaning right in the rectum/anus/left sided spasming like you're puking from your butt involuntarily?
Or general cramping before you have a bm and relief once you're done?
Many foods can cause gas or increased activity in the colon. But, it won't cause you UC inflammation.
I have some cramping depending on what I ate if certain foods cause more gas, but I don't get any rectal pain except when I'm flaring...and those are white-knuckler, squealing, sweating, crying agony with the feeling i'm pooing out a watermelon when it's just a teeny tiny turdette.
