Does this stuff stain?  I have a horrible spot on my(beige) bedroom carpet and I was wondering if my bottle leaked.
It wont budge no matter what stain remover I use.
Ulcerative proctitis. On Asacol 3 3x a day,  Started Meslamine enemas nightly again.
Doc now has me on prescription Pepcid, and  Questran.  Just started that 05/15, so will wait and see.
Update: Questran made me worse, so I stopped taking it.

Urgency is still my biggest problem.  Blood is now gone.

Ever since I had upped my dose of Asacol to 12 pills it had been staining my toilet purple. I bet you anything the bottle leaked and that's what stained your floor. Its absolutely annoying!

Anything with mesalmine stains, the enemas are the worst so be careful...I always used to put down an old towel over my bed before using it just to be safe.

Try an Oxi based spot carpet cleaner first

Hi..yes it stains, unfortunately. you might be able to write the company and see if they can make a suggestion to remove it.

But, since you've already tried to remove it, that may have compromised its ability to budge...might be quite set by now possibly.

Let us know the outcome.
