I had my vitamin/mineral IV yesterday, I've had a two day headache, I don't know what that's about and I pooped like a mad woman today! There's no one in my town that does the IV so I have to make a 3 hour round trip to get it done, but my doc said it will be well worth it and I won't really feel the results until the 2 or 3 time. It's covered by my insurance luckily. But I feel it just cleaned me right out!

I started with a multi vit, iron, vitamin D, caprlic acid and grapefruit seed extract for two weeks today and then starting SPORONOX after the two weeks. My doc said this is better than Diflucan to get the yeast  outof the gut. He said I have bad E Coli in my gut (do you know how many docs have said this and it hasn't been cleared up properly b/c no antibotic will kill this strain?) He said in 1 month I should be feeling better. Has anyone heard of taking SPORONOX over Diflucan for gut yeast?

Can you believe one expert said there yeast in your gut but not enough to be concerned with and now this one says yes there is and they are both looking at the same test and they are both experts in their field, who's right and who's wrong??

I took Flagyl for 4 days and no improvement so my doc said get off it, that wipes out almost all the good bacteria in your gut and you maybe become resistant to it. Four long, darn years I've been researching this and trying to get a "expert" in my condition. Hopefully this all works.  I will keep you posted and thanks for letting me share. Linda

Very mild left sided (could have fooled me with the "mild")  UC. Started LDN ON 1/25/09, stopped LDN on 5/1/09 didn't seem to help. Supplements: Probiotics, Cipro antibiotics 4/29 for 8 days seemed to help a little. Bad diarreah in the mornings about a hour of "dumping" no meds at this time for UC. I take Bentyl as needed, lomotil as well.
