So, I think I have a hemrrhoid. I'll admit I have been straining a little because of my constipation. I toned it down last night, but when I finished I had a painful bump near the anus. I talked to my mom about it and she said it was prolly a hemrrhoid.

Never had one before, any advice other than Preparation H?

Oh, and do you think I can go to the fair? Or is the Scrambler gonna hurt my butt? I told my friend maybe I'll wear a big super flow pad when I go lol.

yeah, just had a couple removed right at the anal opening.....use prep H, If it is really painful or hard feeling, maybe get it checked, cuz if they clot, the prep h will not help so much.....definitely get plenty of fiber or use metamucil to keep your bm's softer to avoid strain.....hemmies are no fun, but not the end of the world....good luck.....prep h will help if they have not thrombosed.,

When I kinda squeezed it (ouch) it felt like... you know how a really massive zit feels? Like there's somethin' in there. That's was this is like. Maybe dime sized, give or take.

LucusJ - You had some removed? Whenever I look on the web about that, I read things advising people with UC to not have surgery to remove them. Hemorrhoids are not only annoying, but it is hard to tell sometimes if I am bleeding from the UC or from them.
