When I was diagnosed, my entire colon was affected (pancolitis). I'm currently in remission, and have 1-2 BM's day.
Status: Remission since late May 2009!
Symptoms began in November 2008, ~4 weeks after giving birth to my son.
Diagnosed with pancolitis on 1/30/09
Currently taking Apriso (4 pills ONCE!! daily), Rowasa twice weekly, Natural Factors Ultimate probiotic 12/12 Formula, and Zoloft (25 mg).

Was rectal and up about 30 cm.  Hopefully much less by now.  Scope was February.  I have from one to 4 BM's - rarely more than 2.

I have no inflammation at the moment but I still go to the bathroom about 2-4 times a day - IBS related probably. At my worse, I have left sided, my inflammation was up to the top of the colon and slightly into the tranverse. At that time I was going about 15-30 times a day with massive bleeding, pain and mucous.
