I hope you can help me. Has anybody tried this or know if it works? I will be giving it a go, so will let you guys know. I was inspired by the link below
Fecal Enema is not an option at present......
Diagnosed with Proctitis UC in Jan 2007 but never realised the seriousness of it....given Pentasa suppositories.....Nov/Dec 2008 very ill - thought it was food poisoning so was prescribed antibiotics twice then ended up in Hospital for 11 days on IV Steroids tapering off with Prednisolone Pancolitis now diagnosed!....another flare in April hospitalised for 12 days put onto Azathioprine and the prednisolone which has now finished. Hooray!
Presently Daily - Pentasa 4 tablets am & pm - 100mg Azathiprine - Asacol enema when needed
Alternatively I take a herbal tincture created for me by the Archway Clinic of Herbal Medicine which is great - I am taking a homeopathic treatment - Aloe Vera tablets - Slippery Elm tablets - Echinachia tablets - Floradix Herbal Iron Tonic - Royal Jelly

I tried it, and I think it actually helped me get out of a flare a while back. There are a couple other people here who have used it successfully too.

'Sheldon', who posted about Vitamin E enemas on other sites has also posted on healingwell a few times, so you can see if you can find his posts here.

There was a time when no medications were working for me and my bleeding would not stop. My doctor said that I needed to have my colon removed. I was not very keen on have surgery and I tried Sheldon's vitamin E enema therapy and within a day my bleeding stopped. Within a week I went from about 12 bowel movements a day to about 3 bowel movements a day with my stools being more formed. I stopped this enema after 3 weeks. It has really changed my life but I don't think it's a cure but it's the best colitis treatment I had.
Not many many are prepared to do this enema as it involves some work and time. It's easier popping a pill

The dietary portion does take work and time, but you can prepare the enema in less than a minute.
