Anyone ever had D issues from psyllium? I saw something online about D being a possible side effect of psyllium supplements.
23 years of UC which started after quitting smoking. In and out of flares which are usually triggered by antibiotics. Latest issue is endless diarrhea without blood or mucous.

Just the opposite for me. Psyllium powder (in a drink) bulks me up. For those with constipation it can create looser stools, but for most people who already have D the psyllium makes it at least a little better.

I think if you take excessive water with it, you might have more diarrhea if you're flaring or having diarrhea at the time.....but some may be sensitive to it and it works the opposite way.
