I am starting my own devised diet plan today to try and gain some control over my colitis.

I am using the SCD and also using aspects taken from listen to your gut by Jini Patel Thompson.

Fingers crossed that i gain some relief, i am also going to be having acupuncture and therapeutic massage to try and make me a little more relaxed and alleviate some of my pains.

I wish you all the best. Just remember diets take a wile. I wanted instant results but you cant expect to have them. some people I speak to on the raw foods diet took 6 months- you also have to be really strict about it, you cant cheat or you will have problems again.

I am like you, i expect instant results and if i don't get them i have trouble motivating myself to continue. But i made the first day, i haven't started the scd yogurt yet, but had a boiled egg for breakfast, grilled pork patties for lunch and chicken broth and pureed carrots for dinner. I am finding it so tough, i am craving chocolate and biscuits but haven't had any, it's just very hard.
