Has anyone had any luch with Cyclosporine? I went into remission after my 1st Remicade treatment, but then i had a major flare-up 6 weeks later and the docs determined that the Remicade was not working for me. I went into the hospital last Wednesday with a 101.9 fever (no infection) and a sed rate of 75. They scoped my on Thursday and it was revealed that the left side of my colon was so inflamed that i had 2 options. Surgery or a Cyclosporine. I've was on a Cyclosporine IV drip for 7 days and was just released from the hospital yesterday. I'm now on Cyclosporine pills. My sed rate has dropped to 36. I'd like to hear anyone's thoughts and opinions on this drug and whether or not it worked for them.

I also had IV cyclosporin after IV steroids failed. It worked very quickly for me. I took cyclopsorin whilst I started on azathioprine which takes 3 months to work then came off it and have largely been in remission since. A wonder drug for me.
200mg/day azathioprine
