I'm currently eating fruits, Soyfield's pro-biotic yogurt with organically milled sugar and Kashi's cereal/granola bars with evaporated cane crystals. Anyone else have some super yummy snacks without refined sugar?

I think Kashi also makes some crackers without refined sugar. Also, if you live near a Whole Foods Market, they will have a ton of stuff.

Chemically there isn't much difference between evaporated cane juice and refined sugar ... both are made almost entirely of sucrose crystals. Also, there is very little difference between the sugars in 100% natural fruit juices and High Fructose Corn Syrup. I eat almost nothing with sugar (of any type), which helps my UC tremendously.

Larabars are good whole food fruit and nut bars. I like individual servings of organic applesauce in different flavors. Whole Foods is the place to look.
Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis spring 1999. Have been in remission for years with only a few minor blips. Scope on 6/22 showed no inflammation at all.

Maintenance dose sulfasalazine. Probiotics, vitamin D, fiber supplement and fish oil caps. George's aloe vera juice and l-glutamine for gut healing. Mostly grain-free and dairy-free low carb diet.
