The problem for me is that I get bad acne if I don't have the right pill. Yaz helped but so does ortho tri. I have tried others and they didn't help like Yaz and Ortho. I am scared to try a pill with the older progestin because those are a lot stronger and can cause pimples. I think Ortho is a 3rd generation progestin. I know a lot about
this because I did some serious reading when a DR prescribed me seasonique (with levonorgestrol). I am pretty sure seasonique could cause me a serious breakout. I may try it sometime but not now because I have meetings and I can't be the lady with the pimple face. People don't like to work with the pimple faced lady. Not to sound shallow because I don't judge people on pimples but the people who I meet with seem to. I hate that ortho has 7 days of placebos, that was the one good thing about
Yaz, short period, but then again, the spotting was a bit out of control.
