Hey everyone, I am new to this site however I've had UC since 2005. I've been able to manage pretty well with the meds however 3 weeks or so ago they changed me from Asacol to Colazal and now I have some pimple like bumps on the sides of my chest (my love handles) if you will. They arn't getting better or getting worse. Has anyone had a similar experience or do you thinks the bumps are from something else? I did take Colazal, a less dosage, about 4 years ago for a month or two and didn't have a problem them. I saw my regular GP and he had no idea what they were so I have an appointment with a dermatologist on the 19th. Any help you can pass along would be awesome! =)

Hi and welcome to Healingwell. The problem with allergic reactions is that they can occur at anytime regardless of a history. It's good that you are seeing a derm to see exactly what it is. Hopefully they will be able to help you. Sounds sort of like a heat rash honestly. Do you prespire alot? Do you play sports?
