I went to my GI for my follow-up after last week's scope. After the scope, she told me I had some inflammation in the rectum and started me on hydrocortisone suppositories.

Fast forward to today, when we reviewed the biopsy results. All of the biopsies, including the rectal ones, showed no dysplasia and no active UC. So apparently it was just starting to get inflamed and caught really early.

So I'm not flaring! (I'm going to finish the course of suppositories then taper off, though.)

Thanks for the update Judy..happy to hear all is well. I would suggest you taper the  supps to at least once a week for maintenance, however.....nothing new there.
