Yep. Took it for about 6 months and didn't notice any difference. I have Crohn's colitis, mainly in the rectum, so maybe it will help you. If you're interested I can email you a study showing the effects of different probiotic bacteria and which strains had the most effectiveness. Just PM me.

I have taken VSL #3 and I think it helps somewhat but it hasn't been anything revolutionary if you ask me. But, I think it is important to take probiotics with IBD, so I take them. When I am done with them, I may choose another brand. It is quite expensive.

Took it 2 packs a day for 2.5 months for my D and bloating. It did not help.
23 years of UC which started after quitting smoking. In and out of flares which are usually triggered by antibiotics. Latest issue is endless diarrhea without blood or mucous.

It's working fine for me right now. I think some people may not be taking enough of it, depending on their symptoms....

1-2 Packets/day are supposed to be taken only when in remission -- to maintain remission
4-8 Packets/day are to be taken if you have active UC, and are not in remission.

It's expensive, and many people here have had success with other probiotics that are a lot cheaper.
