absolutely start the asacol foam if you have it....and if there's no improvement after a week, add the suppositories in the morning.
You had commented not that long ago about
some symptoms that may have been an early flare...but it seems this is more of a clincher and if you're assuming it's a flare, it probably is because of the consistency.
Are any of your symptoms diarrhea?
Yeah, stress of the "distressed" seems to have a hand in my flares as well.
