I know some of you on this forum juice vegetables, fruit , etc. I was wondering do you take the skins off it before you juice or do it whole? How do you tolerate it whole if this is how you juice? I was thinking of trying it but am nervous since I find in flaring I do not tolerate skins and too much fiber.
Any ideas what I could use to juice during a flare to try to build up my health? Thanks

They would be pulverised, so I wouldn't worry about them regarding that fact...as long as you're eating actual food as well or using a fibre supplement to help bulk/form a stool.

One thing about fruits and veggies is there is a lot of chemicals attached or grown into them....I'd for sure wash them properly before juicing...at least to cut down on some of the possible things that would be on the outer skins....or peel many like apples/oranges/bananas before juicing

Juicing veggies (spinach, carrots, celery) works well for me. I prefer not to drink the fiber/residue so I pour it through a sieve before drinking.

You can put in whole oragnes and grapefruits if you want, but it is better to peel them. The juicer we just bought can't take bananas, so you have to blend them. We peel the outer layer of our carrots. I think we use a potato peeler but I always grew up thinking it was only for carrots lol. celery goes straight in as do apples. Pineapple is a great way to add flavor too. We bought a whole one, and cut it into slices lengthwise.

Mom just bought this juicer so I'm no expert, but this is what we've done so far. Hope it helps!

I think it depends on the type of juicer you have.

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it! LOL :)
