This happened to me as well. I was on 40mg. When I tapered, my cycles came back (I was on them for a total of about
4 months including the taper), but they have been messed up since. That was August of last year. I mean, I get my periods every month now, but I never used to have spotting before my cycle started and now I do (from btwn 2-10 days prior-it really interferes with my love life, I have to say, though my husband has become more willing to deal with things, lol. It is either that or nothing!, and my cycles are shorter.
I used to chart and stopped when my periods did, but based on only the cervical fluid signs, I think I still ovulate at about
the same time I used to, but because my cycles are shorter (like 25 days instead of the 29-31 days that was always the norm for me), I am not sure my luteal phase is long enough to conceive, even if we were trying to. It concerns me as well since we want another child at some point.
My ob/gyn's suggestion was to go back on birth control to regulate it. I am not anxious to do that since birth control comes with its own set of issues for me, but I may try it if things don't regulate.
Right now, I am taking a supplement called Femtrol. The guy at the organic market (who is actually a board certified oncologist but quit to do this because he wants to help people through prevention, I guess) wants to see if it will help. I am 2 weeks in on it, so I haven't had a cycle yet to see if it indeed is helping, but I would be happy to report back about
