Well, food doesn't cause UC, and being fat from food such as burgers and fries is a choice that people make..you're not there.
I suspect the fact that you're flaring and your diet hasn't cured you might be seen as a failure....it's not. UC has to be maintained most times through medication intervention.
Life sucks basically for many of us...but we seek out support and find options to make things work out. Feeling sorry for yoursef is OK.
Basically, I feel like a square peg in a round hole...most of the time.
I agree that talking to a therapist to help you with coping skills and for helping brighten up your perspective is a good thing....
You might need some medication intervention or even supplement intervention that can help.
As well...you could make sure you're getting enough vitamins/minerals in your body since only eating raw foods....sometimes being low in some can cause depression.
Are you getting enough D and B12?
Hang tough....you will soon start to feel better once you feel you have more options and your flare starts to improve.
