Boy, not sure I understand who is talking to whom. BUT - I am 69 and my mind gets foggy sometimes.
I have taken Xanax for about 6 years - almost regular. BUT - I take 1/2 of one .25 mg. every 4 to 6 hours so I don't have the ups and downs. Sometimes in the night and afternoon when relaxed I can skip a dose. I NEVER take more than 3 in 24 hours. I tried Lexapro, Vallium and one other and found they made me groggy, or dizzy or ? I think we all can get help from medications but have to be careful. I like to feel like myself - not a stranger. In 6 years I have not had to increase the doseage - works just the same as day one!
Good luck and I do believe counseling/exercise and other things are better if you can get help.
No way I will stay in because of this disease or any mental problems! I will get help first.
