Okay I've got to wonder which med it really is. I was in a moderate flare and started 6-mp and sinequan (doxepin), both which I have taken in the past. It was not even a week later and I was much improved and now I feel completely back to normal. I know 6mp is not supposed to work that quick and sinequan does slow my gut down. Now I have got to wonder which one is doing the job. So I am going to be the human guinea pig and I quit the 6mp. I have only been taking it a month. I was in a med free remission for four years until this latest flare (which I really think eating raw
cookie dough may have had something to do with it) so wish me luck. I just wonder if my new GI doc is going to kick me out of his practice-lol. I know some people will say it's not smart but I see alot of people taking their meds like they are supposed to and still sick. Noone really knows how the disease works and I really want to narrow it down to what works for me.
