I don't think you'll lose on bagels and muffins! Very high in carbs, and no protein or nutritional value.
I like egg salad in the morning, with a little salmon. I can bake enough salmon to last a few days, and also make a batch of egg salad ahead so morning prep is quick!
Greek yogurt is also good, high in protein and not high carb (if plain). I mix it with a few berries or splenda or a drizzle of honey.
