Oh my gosh, I have been talking about
this with my husband frequently. Every morning... right this very minute, I am sitting here at work barely able to hold on. My stomach is bumping around. I had a couple of healthy bms so I know I'm not backed up. I have been very diligent on my gf diet, but mornings are the worse time of the day for me. I avoid making appointments in the mornings and getting to work is a journey of quiet moans. Good thing I drive alone! I get to my desk and hope that there won't be any staff or students needing me for a while. I have Zofran which I take when the nausea factor rises to a level where I think I might get physically sick. Zofran is a great medication. The only side effect I have noticed it that my eyes get blurry. I don't feel sleepy or drugged.. just the eye thing. I keep looking at the clock because by 9:30 or 10:00 I know I will feel better.
Have you tried Zofran? The generic is much cheaper - it is called Ondansetron. You just let it melt on your tongue... within 4 minutes the nausea is pretty much gone.
Presently on: 600 mg. Remicade every 5 weeks
Venofer infusion every 5 weeks
B12 every 5 weeks
12 Asacol daily
Zofran as needed
