Yeah, I too would get fish burps and even seemingly worse D and gas when I was taking fishoil. I tired pills and Barleans Brand liquid, which is really yummy - like lemon merengue pie; but it has xylotol. :-(
Anyway, I found dropping the supplements and upping my Omega-3's in my diet to be the best for me. Luckily, I'm one of those who likes sardines out of the can with crackers (my office-mates hate it when that's my lunch!), and I have a huge avocado tree in my backyard so I can easily eat two a day. I try to eat salmon at least once a week.
BTW, regarding your other comment about
being disappointed/depressed - please keep your spirits up through the weekend and know you are genuinely cared for by folks like me on this forum.

Have tried dozens of alternate remedies:
glutamine, sunflower/spinach, omega3, Ayurveda, reflexology, herbal prescriptions, blood allergy testing (avoiding dairy and eggwhites), tried no nightshades, tried SCD (not very strict to be honest), tried Guts to Glory program, briefly tried David Klein diet, mega-probiotics, probiotic enemas, slippery elm enemas, etc. etc.
I know that the right combination for what my tender tummy needs is out there!
