Good luck. I never had the Moviprep. Usually I take the Nulitely, that gallon jug of yuk. I usually stay on a liquid diet for at least two days before taking the prep whenever I had colonoscopies and that way I only had to drink about 1/3 of the prep before it came out clear.
I am having a really bad day today. Terrible cramping, rectal pressure has reached its limit. I can feel the swelling in my rectum. All that comes out is liquid poo. Don't know how I am going to get through the stress echo tomorrow . With the exception of a few soda crackers, I stayed on a liquid diet today. Made some homemade chicken soup. Did eat a few slices of the chicken though. Hoping they can schedule me sooner for surgery. I decreased the prednisone from 40 to 35 mgm today....not sure if that is a good idea or not, but even on the 40 didn't improve things, except for a bit less bleeding. I only moved my bowels...if you can call it that....four times this morning.
I am always worried that they missed something. Maybe I have a tumor....know that I am probably getting paranoid here. I did have a CT scan of the pelvic area done either late Feb or early March and a flex sig in March. One of those would most likely have picked up something serious...wouldn't you think? Guess I just need reassurance.
