Folks with IBD often have - or can develop - other autoimmune diseases. Was the doc who administered the ANA a rheumatologist? If not, you might want to make an appointment to see one. As Sherry indicates, the ANA can be difficult to intepret, particularly for GPs or specialists in other areas. If you're not having any troublesome symptoms, other than the slow healing, it may not be something to worry too much about
