Yes - the gas! I've noticed that, a number of us have. and the "clustering in the morning" - the bathroom trips bunched in the morning, also not uncommon.
I take fiber via Metamucil (or there's Citrucel, Benefiber..) that's soluble fiber, which helps clump my poos together (even though it's sold as a laxative), and then I don't worry about
the lack of salads, etc, in my diet.
I would rarely be brave enough to eat an orange. Even now, in more or less remission, I do better with salads if the greens are of the more tender variety (spinach greens do well for me.)
The best thing you can do is learn your body and be proactive on your own behalf - sounds like you're off to a good start on those things!
