I moved from 1600 ft in MI to 4700 ft in AZ a couple years ago. You need to force fluids and it messes with everything. At 7000 ft you are getting almost to the point where some people get altitude sickness. Definitely effects lungs and heart. You need to reduce activity until you get used to it. It greatly magnifies the effects of alchohol and I get bad hangovers from 2 beers at 8000ft. Heart rate increases, not sure if that is going to cause more bleeding.
AZ is very dry at this time of year. 5- 15% humidity. Altitude increases dehydration even more. The sun at this time is many times as intense as the NE. I spend a lot of time outdoors and it takes getting used to. Most people stay inside in June. It should start raining any day.
