That would be GREAT! I'll take as much info as possible, I can't do anything til my hubby's benefits kick in on the 26th. My hubby and I are going with Blue Cross Blue Shield if that helps at all.
Mayo clinic doesn't take Blue Cross of Arizona, but there are some exceptions for certain employers, so you could check with them. Even so, most of their GI Docs are booked months in advance. I use Dr. Leighton who is the head of the G.I Dept. at Mayo in Scottsdale.
Dr. Stuart Triester works for Scottsdale healthcare. My Mayo Doc recommended him when I thought I was going to have to stop using Mayo because our insurance changed. I saw him once, and he seemed like a good doc. I think he takes your insurance.
Even though your insurance doesn't start until the 26th, you could still book an appointment now, as long as it is for an appointment after the 26th. My point is if you wait until the 26th to book an appointment, you will likely end up waiting for weeks after your insurance kicks in to see anyone.
Hope things work out for you here in AZ. Best of luck with your U.C.
