Seems to me that everything I've read about
UC and your gut flora population says that if you have UC you probably don't have a balanced normal gut flora population. That's why the FT supposedly does work, it helps restore the bacteria that an otherwise healthy person should have.
I would think that if your donor is healthy, there really shouldn't be any harm in trying FT while pregnant. The worse thing that would happen is you get sick from some nasty intestinal infection, but if your donor is healthy, that shouldn't even be an issue.
