So, he isn't doing to good. Took him to the emergency room last night because the last three nights he is getting severe pain in his belly. He screams and cries because it hurts so bad. He had an Upper GI with small bowel follow through and they said everything is okay for him to go ahead with the camera pill. He has this done on the 26th. He is down to 20mg of pred and he has gained 7 pounds so far and his face is getting big. He has been on the pred for only two weeks and it is affecting him good. Poor guy. All he thinks about
is food. I told him I can relate. When I was on pred for 6 months I gained 50 pounds. They did nothing at the emergency room. He was throwing up (two bucket fulls) with the pain and I hate to wait three hours to be seen. They didn't run blood tests or anything. They told me to follow up with GI in the morning because by the time we where seen he wasn't complaining anymore. The GI took blood today to check his gall bladder. I just wish they would find out what is wrong. I hate to see him go through this and I'm worried they won't find out what is going on. School starts in two weeks and I'm worried about
that too. My poor man. He is eight he shouldn't have to deal with this. Oh, and to top it all of my father in law had my son over night last week and he told him he was fat and that his puking up was because my husband and I stress him out and because he is fat. Then he said don't tell your mom about
this. What an A--Hole. My son will never be going over there again unsupervised. He came home crying and said he doesn't want to go over there again.
He also heard my father in law talking about
my husband and I on the phone to my husbands brother. Real nice man. Sorry just need to vent. My son is going through enough and don't need that.
