I just saw a nutritionist and she mentioned about getting fish oil to help with inflamation. she said to get the kind with DHA and EPA...about 500mg.

Anyone know any good brands?  I heard there were brands that were better and you won't burp up fish oil

I don't know its reputation, but I use Nordic Naturals. I've never had an issue with burping fish oil on it. (Though once when I used a trial pack of a different brand, one of the capsules burst in my throat. Let me tell you, that was one of the most disgusting experiences I've ever had! )

A trick to avoid that sort of thing is to keep the bottle in the freezer.
Ulcerative proctitis, diagnosed about 1998
Rowasa nightly, Canasa suppository in morning
Taken off Asacol under suspicion it caused low white-cell count
Allergies to dust, molds, penicillin, some trees and grasses, and cats (but I still have three!)
Occasional migraines

I used Fisol...no burpies at all. But, fish oil gives me SBS (slippery butt syndrome) and I don't use it any longer.

Personally, I'd never use it in liquid form...even the thought of it makes me want to puke.

Didn't notice a difference when I took fish oil. The consensus among GIs (as I understand) is that it won't hurt you, but it probably won't be much help either.

My consultant recommends as much fish oil as you can tolerate.

And he also recommends VSL 3 probiotic.

He knows i am intolerant to all medications, so this is what he has suggested for me.
