I have a juicer purchased to make veggie juices which I did for a several months. Yes they helped get me into remission along with SCD.
Why have I stopped juicing? Several reasons: I'm better now, I went on vacay and got out of the habit, it's hard to buy the greens I like to juice, I'm lazy...
My favorite juice and I thought the most beneficial was collards and cabbage. I can't find collards to buy now and don't like the store cabbage, not leafy green enough. I grew cabbage until heat killed it and it was green and leafy, not white like in-store. I think "greens" are most beneficial and didn't like the taste of the white cabbage. There are studies showing that cabbage juice heals ulcers.
I eat spinach and carrots every day. Carrot juice was also tasty and added a little fresh ginger but be careful, it's powerful. So powerful the juice can be undrinkable with too much.
Hmmm, maybe I should start juicing again.
