So glad you are doing great on LDN.
I am on my 4th week of Transdermal LDN and am quite happy with the results. I would recommend anyone suffering with UC and Crohn's try it, especially before they try the big time side effects meds such as Remicade and some of the TNF drugs.
I lost 5 weeks on it because the oral LDN didn't agree with me, and then when they switched me to the hypo-allergenic formulation, my body couldn't absorb it properly.
But I started seeing small differences after 4 days on the Transdermal LDN. Now, 4 weeks later, I would consider myself in remission.
But I would suggest to anyone a longer trial period - 6 months - to make a determination - the compounding pharmacist told me to give it a good solid 6 months.
Diagnosed with UC in September 2010.Tried various Mesalamine enemas/suppos/pills with Prednisone for several round without any help.Diet consists of only protein: protein shakes w/Maca powder,L-Glutamine 15 grams, D-Ribose 5grams, chia seeds, and meat & fish only.Liquid Minerals& Vitamins.
