Does anybody in Canada get vsl covered by insurance.....

I don't think it's considered a medicine, so I doubt if it's covered. Certainly not by the state. There may be coverage via private insurance schemes though.

The VSL#3 DS - Double Strength - is a prescript
ion item, but not the regular vsl, I believe. The DS says "by prescript
ion only" on the box. The other can be found at some pharmacies, at least in the US; I don't know about
Canada.

I've had perscript
ions written a few times by my GI for VSl and it has never been covered by my insurance.

Precriptions for VSL were never covered my my insurance, either, until I got the Doc to write VSL #3 DS 20 PACKETS PER BOX on the prescript
ion, and then it got covered. But (in the US) everyone's insurance is different.
