Right.... and orange juice, if you can tolerate it.
My son is on a diuretic for his kidney stones (non UC-related.... they are calcium stones from too much liquid pooling in the kidneys because his calyxes, collecting system into the kidney, is too large.... birth abnormality.)
Anyway - the diuretic flushes too much potassium out of his system. We just had more blood drawn to test the level last week! But the doc usually tells him to eat bananas and drink OJ.
Here is a link to a list of high potassium foods. I notice avocados are on it.... I find those UC-friendly (though we're all different...)
