I honestly don't remember the exact date, but about 6 months ago I would guess (I see a lot of doctors...). I just moved about a month ago, and have been putting off finding a new doctor due to the stress that I've been under.
I had actually set aside time to make some phone calls tomorrow and figure everything out, so I will hopefully be seeing one soon. I definitely could see it being a deficiency.
I know you're very knowledgeable Old Hat, so maybe you can answer this. I take four Lialda, each day. Normally, I am symptom free, as long as I take 2 in the morning, and 2 at night. However, if I go too long without them (more than a day, I can skip a morning or evening dosage, and be okay, but skip both, and I'm doomed), things come back. I don't purposely go without them, but with moving, a new job, and life, sometimes I just forget. But, what do I tell this new doctor? Do I say that I am still in a flare? I consider myself in a flare if I need the medicine to get through each day, however, I'm also wondering...is it really a flare when it's medication-controlled?
I'm not too sure...obviously, anyone else can chime in! :)
