In April I had met with my GI and had a sig done because I was having some problems with D and cramping. The sig looked fine and so I scheduled the follow up appt which I had today. We were hoping that after school was done things would calm down and my gut would get back to normal. I've still been having good and bad days but my bad days consist mostly of cramping and soft stools. My GI decided that he wants a full scope and to do a blood test for celiacs. He's worried that there is something going on it my small intestines (I had backwash ileitis when I was diagnosed). I have the scope scheduled for August 29th...without general anesthesia
So I have my fingers crossed that both tests come out fine. Inflammation in my small intestines would mean crohns and a positive celiacs test would suck too...sigh.
