We all wish you a straight forward surgery and uncomplicated recovery. Soon you will be feeling SO much better. For our family, this surgery was a blessing....it has given my son his life back and it will do the same for you.
Remember that it is so important to get up and walk as soon as possible (even though you will not feel like it), and then walk some more and then finally some more. Really take your time when they allow you to start eating....you will be hungry but when they tell you to eat small amounts and CHEW well they really mean it. The take-home slogan is "WALK, WALK, WALK and CHEW, CHEW, CHEW"
We will be thinking of you on Monday,
