Thanks everyone, sorry to confuse -the only thing I'm taking is 40mg of Prednisone a day, I was prescribed asacol, bentol, cipro and flagyl as well, only followed the 10 day use of flagyl, now finished. Seeing the naturopath in a week. Thanks for filling me in aquafly, it helps knowing other people experience these side effects, cause man! My mood today is fine! And I hate it because other days its absolutely horrible. I'm getting alot of back and chest acne too because of this too, and dare i say it -i feel like i have no sex drive. :( Thanks for the outlook bananagirl, i'm glad this has worked for you and your dad.
Since a few weeks ago this is my new diet:
Aloe Vera Juice around 3am when i wake up with stomach pains.
breakfast: (eggs) daily to restore blood/iodine/iron loss.
wheat toast - butter
lunch: organic kiwi/banana, tilapia/tuna/salmon filet w/ mushroom, onion, Gpeppers, garlic clove in tortilla wrap
cup of unsweetened almond milk, handful of pistachios
dinner: chicken breast w/ steamed kale/broccoli/asparagus
snacks/side dinners: amys organic burritos, PB & J all natural/on bread, and occasionally
spices: tummeric, cinnamon, curry, basil (all anti-inflamatory)
tea: twice a day: licorice root, kombucha green tea
I'm always hungry, always thirsty for water, pretty much all i drink, i weigh 140lbs 5"9.
However, this has been my diet for over a year anyway... I just added anti inflammatory foods like veggies/fruits, tea, the spices i mentioned and ofcourse aloe vera.
I wake up 3 to 4 times in the middle of the night with stomach pains/have to go to the bathroom, so i take aloe vera only the first time and fall back asleep, and repeat the cycle a few more times before waking up.
Exercise: no weightlifting/running for now :( yoga and meditation, and i walk everywhere.
