Quoting you..."but one I know for sure of is that we're not eating correctly. Its only a matter of time before our systems shut down and say "i cant handle this crap anymore"." doesn't hold true for the pediatric IBD that's on a rapid rise, many toddlers, even babies are getting IBD (at an alarmingly high rate) and their diet is nothing like a teenager/adults diet is.
I truly agree that diet/food has it's role regarding IBD but there's much more to it than that alone, especially when you factor in pediatric IBD....also, what one person's environmental trigger(s) is can differ from anothers.
Yes, and they're getting it through their mothers. When a baby is in the womb for 9 months, that mother needs to think about
some of the things she's putting in her body, and most people can't tell the difference from what good food nutrient is to bad, babies are being introduced to some of the worst additives from foods/chemicals at a very young age. Other factors include genetics and environmental factors, if theres a buildup of toxins and metals and other environmental junk in the system thats reason enough for the immune system to go awry and transfer to offspring.
DBUC, your taking it quite offensively, when I've never even mentioned the word "cure" in my post. You can think whatever you would like to, but i'm certainly not in denial, and you can look to my signature for all of the improvement-steps i've been taking to get my condition under control. What I said in my post was that "I" meaning myself, believe attitude is a factor (along with stress & anxiety) that may have brought this disease on to ME -not particularly anyone else, just ME. "but I know that if I
turn to my faith and use reinforcement within myself to stay strong -I can
get through this, and so can others."
Let me encourage others to find what works best for them, no one is here to preach, I just want to share what has worked for me. Denial is "refusal of belief", and I believe in things that work for me, so... thats the wrong term.
