I go 2 or 3 times every morning and thats it for the day. When flaring I can go anywhere from 10 - 20 times including blood and mucus trips.
Manhattanmama, - No one should be stuck at home, I find it actually makes me worse. Can you ask your Doctor for a perscription for Lomotil to slow down the colon, this way you can get out and enjoy life with your kids. If you have to wear pads or an adult diaper until things settlle down but try to get out, even if its for short breaks.
Do you take enough probiotics each day to add the beneficial bacteria back into the colon?
Are you taking Metamucil daily to help bulk the stool?
Regular daily exercise helps me alot, even when I was flaring once I started exercising my stomach calmed down and so did the anxiety in my head.
Continue with your enemas and cortifoam things should improve. Add vit e into your enemas it helps to heal.
I've found lately that vit d has been good, especially if your stuck inside.
