Even though I consider diet crucial for my remission, I really cannot recommend the SCD. There are too many 'legal' foods that give me trouble, and even more 'illegal' food items that are perfectly fine for me to eat. I am convinced that a big reason why the SCD is effective at all is because bans gluten, and there are a lot of people who are gluten sensitive.
I just keep a food diary to isolate triggering foods. Some of these are listed in my signature. Actually I was impressed with your first post the other day, you seem to eat even better than I do, even though I am the one supposed to be careful about
what I eat:
for breakfast i eat fat free chobani yogurt mixed with a can of low sugar sliced peaches (kept in fridge so they're good n cold) with some blueberries thrown in.

When needed probiotics taken with powdered psyllium seed is very helpful.
