Just out of curiosity.
I've been noticing that some of you use the Canasa suppositories twice a day, morning and evening. A time ago, when I was worse, I started to use them that way too. Run out and called my GI for refill. Was told, that it should "last" for 24 hours and that my insurance probably won't cover rx for more than that. I wrote, it should "last", and mean that it is a non-realistic scenario. Sometimes holding it like for 1-4 hours seems like miracle, esp when one has urgency issues. Never mind. I got my once a day rx filled, things got and stayed under control. Now I use them every couple of days, and saving some for worse days.
On the patient info it's also stated that usual course of treatment in taking one per 24 hours.
So how does it really works? Is it GI decision or yours to take two per day? How about
PS. I'd say that in may case a few days with 2/day helped to put things at bay.
