yes, some blood in bms still (trace blood, and once in awhile clumps of dark red the day after i eat red meat or chocolate) i started the metamucil about a year or so ago and i was bleeding, and had leakage then, my bms improved with the metamucil, but not to the point of remission.
I am trying to tweak things though, thats why i want to try the seed powder instead of the husk. I keep reading that people have issuse with the fiber supps during flares, and its making me think that the seed may be better for me than the husk.
you could try the metamucil tabs and see how it goes for you, or if you are really worried just get the seed powder. i just ordered the seed powder in capsule form from imedmart, i think it was now brand and it was really inexpensive.
Here is the information about the study i am hoping to be in. the one really bad part is that i could end up with a placebo. if i feel worse on the study i would then have to drop out and go back to my reguoat rectal meds.
this drug is already being used in Europe and Canada., I really hope we can get it here in th US soon, we need more options.
