Oh I've done that every now and then during my 2 years of diet modification and lived to tell of it.
My goal was not to blow up however, just the normal human cravings for things like chocolate, ice cream, etc and not in moderation lol. I never drank much before diet mod. so alcohol didn't come into it much.
IMO going off will not kill you, it usually takes repeated blows to really PO my colon, like eating things every day that start the gas factory and D factory going. Before I was able to identify my problem foods/drink it was really hard to know what the problem was, seemed like everything was wrong. Now it's relatively easy to identify and correct, still not easy to avoid those "fun" foods. It's gotten soooo much better though.
