I think the report on MULTISTEm was mostly excerpts form a company press release as they moved into Phase II trials, and were likely trying to attract investors as well as trial participants.
Still it did sound promising. There is a center about
40 miles west in Topeks, KS. I am not sure I meet the inclusion crideria
•Subjects must have a documented diagnosis of ulcerative colitis at least 6 months prior to screening.
•Subjects must have active moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis based on Mayo score.
•Subjects must have Modified Baron endoscopic score of at least 2 determined within 7 days of first dosing.
•Subjects must have failed or be intolerant (as determined by the investigator) of at least one of the following treatments for UC: Oral corticosteroids, azathioprine or 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP), or anti-tumor necrosis factor (TNF) therapy, eg, infliximab or adalimumab.
I tried 6mp for a while, but did not seem to be intolorant, just went back a step and tried recatal meds. Also My original moderate pancolitis is likely midl-moderate left sided right now. Just my luck I would end up in the placebo group anyway.
