A lot of Indian food is good but some is terrible for you. Mexican food is good so long as you choose the right food which you can tolerate and are healthy; American food is good too: Americans are a melting pot from India, China, Middle East, Africa, and other places with some bad food but the home made can be great and very healthy (I make lean, stuffed cabbage, Asian stir fry, Indian dishes but my meat loaf, spaghetti and pizza does me just as well). I noticed nothing special or 'better' from my Indian or my friend's Indian foods and remedies (my friend, Raj, so often is telling me how unhealthy US citizens are - he's a US citizen too!). He got me into shopping at the stores he uses and I started making the foods he suggested; he was so certain he could fix my issues (had to be caused by the Chicken Tacos I was eating instead of the Tandoori chicken, etc he encouraged me to make). Now that was 10 years ago. Being the researcher he is and after visiting doctors in India each year (he goes for 6 months at a time) he now says, 'they don't know what causes the disease you have nor how to cure it' - okay well thanks a lot Raj. I wouldn't have known unless it was for you hearing that from your physicians in India and you being convinced after what you tried wasn't helping rather some even making me feel worse.
People mean well so I thank them and thank the poster here - his anti-acid advice is meant to help.
Now I love Indian food but he failed to help me. Now he just says that people in the US (lighter skinned like me) must have some imperfections in their DNA which cause these diseases). My grandparents lived just as long as his and were just as healthy.
So many cures.
I hear so many people in here brag about
this or that natural and down talk the pharmaceuticals and wonder how do we not know they aren't coming from websites and just preying on us to buy those products they're advertising? Some do that. Your GI and that pharmaceutical company are bad and just out for profit but the business I buy this 'natural' from doesn't want profit rather only wants to help the sick.
I've said it before: 'natural' implies (to many) no chemicals and good for you over a prescribed medicine. Crude oil is natural my friend.
Thanks for helping us with this idea and let us know how well it's working in 8-15 years and if the remission is still there then you might get some real interest.
Pardon my being skeptical but we get a lot of cures here: Vitamin E enemas (cured); Garlic enemas (cured); SCD (cured); Sheldon's diet (cured); only salmon diet (cured); vegan (cured); Vita-Nutria DX (cured); AMP Floracel (cured); just scratching the surface.
